I’m Hallie Waugh,
freelance copywriter, editor, and adjunct writing professor.
It’s my job to find the right words.
I hold a B.A. in English Writing from Oklahoma Christian University and an M.F.A. in Poetry from Seattle Pacific University, where I learned the power and necessity of a well-placed word.
I’ve spent the past 8+ years working as a writer for corporate creative departments, non-profits, and branding agencies, helping businesses of all sizes clarify and communicate their stories.
In my free time, you’ll find me making a mess in the kitchen, starting a dance party, or obsessing over the latest book of poetry.
My poetry and essays have been published by Fathom Magazine, Nations Media, The Windhover, and is forthcoming from New York Quarterly.
